FAQ

Q: Which formal education are you looking for to be eligible for the program?
A: We accept candidates with Master or Bachelor level studies. We prefer business related studies with emphasis on Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Procurement, Sales & Marketing as well as a broad range of maritime studies. The Wrist Acceleration program is for practitioners.

Q: Are you looking for any particular experience?
A: The nature of the program is practical and operational learning, and it targets newly graduated students with little or no prior work experience from a full time career. However, we believe that strong candidates have some work experience from student jobs, internships or similar.

Q: What should I focus on in my application?
A: Your application is your opportunity to convince us that you are the right person to bring forward in the recruiting process. We expect to learn about the person behind the resume, and learn about your hopes and dreams for the future.

Q: What should I attach to my application?
A: Other than the on-line application form, we would be looking for a resume (CV), copies of qualifications, an application letter as well as a short video. The video gives you a unique opportunity to articulate your desire to join the program, and why.

Q: Which languages are required?
A: Wrist has English as it global business language, so we expect all candidates to write, read, speak and understand English at a high level.

Q: What salary level do you offer?
A: Wrist offers a competitive salary for Wrist Acceleration program participants – depending on the local labor market.

Q: Will Wrist sponsor a work permit (visa), if I do not have the right to work in my preferred location?
A: For positions based in the US and in Europe, Wrist will only accept candidates who have the right to live and work in these locations, now and in the future. Even if you have a student visa that will allow some period of work permission, we will not be able to accept your application.

Q: May I apply for multiple positions?
A: Yes, you may, but we ask you to inform us which other locations you are applying for. This helps us with the administrative work.

Q: Will I be guaranteed a job after I have finished the program?
A: We expect that all who complete the program will continue in the Wrist organization – this is not an unconditional job guarantee, but a well-founded expectation for those who shine in the program, through on-the-job training and participation in module education.
